Yay for me! I completed another project! It's the baby's pram quilt, made with Kaffe scraps left over from a wedding quilt I made last year.
The back is pieced from some left overs from a quilt I made for a friend's daughter last year (Kenzie's quilt).
I ended up unpicking the "ugly free motion quilting" in the border.
I'm still deciding whether to put some other type of quilting in the border or not.
Maybe some hand quilting?
I've attached the binding my hand, and I'm really happy with it.
I'm also liking the machine quilting in the centre of the quilt.
All in all, a fun little project, made with the (freezer paper) english paper piecing method.
I think it's going to look really cute in her pram.
P.S. Today is our baby's due date!

The quilt looks beautiful! I love the fabrics and well done with the binding, you should be really proud of it :)
-Mine seems to end up all wonky.
What about straight line quilting in the border or zig zag/diagonal quilting/diamond quilting? - I don't really know what you call it, but you know what I mean :)
Looks absolutely beautiful, Sarah.
The quilt is beautiful!! You must be super excited about the baby. I will be looking forward to hearing the good news!
I love it!!! Aren't you about to have the wee one?
I'm so far behind on reading blogs, you may have her already and I'm in the dark!
It looks fab! I love the quilting. Thinking of you and sending you lots of love!
It came out beautifully!! I hope you have a quick and easy (and soon) delivery! :) Christine
How beautiful, Sarah. Some large hand quilting stitches in perle cotton around the border in rows might be pretty (and pretty fast). I think it's lovely as is!
