Now that the top is completed, I just need to decide on backing and binding.
Because this quilt is small, I thought I might try hand-quilting it. My machine is making funny noises, so I'm not game to use it. It will probably be out of action for a little while until it is fixed and serviced. I might as well continue to use my hands with this project, as so far, it has been completely hand-pieced. I ended up using applique to attach the tumbling blocks to the border. I even hand-mitered the corners of the border.
Hope you're having a great Sunday!

It looks great and I love the colours, it's going to be so cuddly hand quilted.
Fabulous little quilt!
Such a cute little quilt! I don't think that if my machine was making noises I would want to use it either.

It is a gorgeous little quilt and the colours are beautiful.
My machine was making funny noises a few weeks ago also and I did have to part with it for a couple of weeks while it was being serviced but the funny noises have disappeared:)
