This is the first quilt I ever made, back in 2002. I still really like the fabrics. I learnt to quilt at a quilt shop that doesn't exist anymore, which was over in Morningside. It was run by a lovely woman called Carolyn (or was it Caroline??). The class was a great group of ladies as well. The irish chain pattern is still one of my favourites, and I love strip piecing, and making 9-patches.
