Finally Fassett


The triangle paper is really fun to use. You simply sandwich together the two fabrics you want to use to make the half square triangles, then lay the triangle paper on top. You attach the paper to the fabrics with a few pins, then you sew along the dotted lines, then cut along the solid lines. Finally, you tear off the paper and you are left with perfect half square triangles.


I'm planning a quilt much like the one on redpepperquilts.com.au which is in turn based on one from flickr. It's got HEAPS of half square triangles in it (the one with the large star blocks), so I'm using triangle paper.



I have wanted to work with these fabrics ever since my friend Melissa did her beginner's quilt in his fabrics.

Aren't his fabrics just beautiful!
